Wool Wine Vintage Dressing Gown (OR344)
These wool check dressing gowns were an absolute essential in unheated houses of the early C20th. Still much desired today by vintage enthusiasts and for use in any authentic costume dramas.
This magnificent example is likely to date from 1940’s -50’s. It has very stylish cord trim on pockets and cuffs. The colourway is a deep wine
There are no fabric content labels but this is likely to be pure wool.
Brand name “Marquis” and Cash’s name tape, V Langford
It does not have a size label but would fit a 44″ chest comfortably. The sleeves are a good length so ideal for anyone around to 6ft tall.
 Back length measures 48″.
