Sheer Cornucopia Short Sleeve Shirt
When Emily Adams Bode founded her eponymous menswear label, Bode (pronounced Boh-dee), she did so with the intention of expressing a sentimentality for the past through her creations. Through the study of both personal narratives and historical techniques, Bode is able to create clothing which is a bold collision of modern workwear silhouettes and female-centric traditions like quilting and mending. Inspired by a georgette scarf circa 1930’s, the Sheer Cornucopia Short Sleeve Shirt is a stand-out. It features a blocks of pale blue fabric, delicate applique and embroidery, with sheer silk negative space. Style over the Relaxed Jeans and loafers for a vintage feel.
