Pleated Front Trousers (TR1920)
These classic pleat front trousers were first worn in 1920’s when they were known as Oxford Bags. Extreme versions were developed reaching an audacious 44″ hem width.
They continued to be popular throughout the century most notably in 1950’s.
These are a great cut, fitted at the back and with just enough room at the front.
Traditional button fly and braces buttons, now with belt loops. Back pocket with flap.
Split back waistband.
These are currently only available in one colourway, hazel herringbone which is a textured 100% cotton weave.
They are true to size, unlike many of our other trousers so for the best fit measure around the true waist (navel height) and buy that size.
Inside leg unfinished at 37in which allows sufficient fabric for turn-ups
Sizes: 26in – 46in waistÂ
