Description

Original Brown Check Dressing Gown (OR545)

These wool check dressing gowns were an absolute essential in unheated houses of the C20th. Still much desired today by vintage enthusiasts and any authentic costume productions.

This brown plaid gown is not in perfect condition as it has one tassel missing and several small moth holes. We have dealt with the active moth by freezing the garment but it would be best used in a broken down scene. Perfect for the Blitz.

This one is labelled 

55% wool

45% viscose

Made in Ireland

Size label 44″

Back length measures 46″.

Comes complete with original cord and tassel sash but please note one tassel is missing
