When Emily Adams Bode founded her eponymous menswear label, Bode (pronounced Boh-dee), she did so with the intention of expressing a sentimentality for the past through her creations. Through the study of both personal narratives and historical techniques, Bode is able to create clothing which is a bold collision of modern workwear silhouettes and female-centric traditions like quilting and mending. The Hampshire Floral Long Sleeve Shirt is inspired by a 1970’s reproduction of victorian era dress fabric. It features a wing collar, button down closure and an all over pattern. Wear with the Double Knee Painter Pants and derbies to elevate the look even further.
