Junya Watanabe launched his eponymous line in conjunction with Comme des Garcons in 1993 after working as a designer for the brand prior. Watanabe’s designs reference punk and romantic aesthetics and the method of deconstruction. Made in collaboration with New Balance, the labels reimagine the URC30 Sneakers. Made with a nylon upper with tonal leather and suede overlays, it features a unique twisted rubber outsole for a distinct look.
